Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Métier Plus Inc. ("Métier Plus", "we") places great importance on protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect on metierplus.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

1. Person in Charge of the Protection of Personal Information

The person responsible for the protection of personal information at Métier Plus is:

Pascal Leduc, Director of Operations
Email: pleduc@metierplus.com
Address: Métier Plus Inc., 8000 boul. Langelier, Suite 700, Montréal, Québec, H1P 3K2

You may contact him with any question about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to raise a concern about your personal information.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Site forms collect information that you voluntarily provide:

  • Job application: first name, last name, email, phone, trade or position sought, link to your resume or LinkedIn profile or uploaded resume file, language of communication.
  • Spontaneous application (resume submission): same information as above.
  • Service request (employers): company name, contact person's name and role, business email, phone, city, sector, position to be filled, number of resources required, mandate type, description of the need, newsletter subscription choice.
  • Refer a friend: your first name, last name, email and phone, as well as the referred person's first name, last name, email, phone and trade and, where applicable, a message. If you refer someone, please make sure you have their consent before sending us their contact information.

During browsing, technical information may also be communicated to Google according to the operation and choices described in section 6.

3. Purposes of Collection

Information provided through forms is used to:

  • process your application and contact you about job opportunities matching your profile;
  • respond to and follow up on employer service requests;
  • contact a referred person to present them with opportunities;
  • send you the newsletter, if you consented to it (employers only — you may withdraw this consent at any time).

We do not sell your information. Audience measurement, conversion measurement and advertising personalization purposes related to browsing are described in section 6.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties and Hosting Outside Quebec

Your information may be disclosed to the following recipients, only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Métier Plus applicant and client management system (ATS/CRM) (postes.metierplus.com): information submitted through the forms is transferred there so that our recruitment team can process it.
  • SendGrid (Twilio Inc.): email service provider used to send internal alerts to our team; it processes the information contained in those emails.
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers: the site, its database and uploaded resume files are hosted on cloud servers located outside Quebec (notably in the United States).

Some information is therefore stored outside Quebec. Before making such disclosures, we ensure that the information receives adequate protection, in particular through appropriate contractual and security measures. No other third party (advertiser, business partner, etc.) has access to your personal information.

5. Retention and Destruction

Information submitted through the forms is kept in the site's database only long enough to ensure its secure transfer to our ATS/CRM, and is then automatically deleted 30 days after that transfer. Uploaded resume files are kept in our cloud storage for as long as necessary to process your application.

In our ATS/CRM, your information is kept for as long as necessary for recruitment purposes, then destroyed or anonymized in accordance with our internal retention schedule.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Essential site functions (language preference, interface settings and secure portal and administration sessions) remain available regardless of your cookie choices.

Google Consent Mode v2 — Advanced mode: the Google Tag Manager container (GTM-TK4HH76) loads when you arrive on the site. All four Google consent types — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — default to denied and are then updated according to your explicit choices or saved preferences.

Cookieless signals: before your choice and when you refuse the corresponding categories, Google tags may send cookieless signals to Google LLC for audience and conversion measurement and modeling. These signals may include consent status, a timestamp, browser information and the referring page (referrer). Refusal therefore does not mean that no communication with Google occurs. Corresponding Analytics or advertising cookies must not be read or created while consent is denied.

Analytics: with your permission, Google Analytics 4 cookies measure site visits and interactions.

Advertising: with your separate permission, Google Ads cookies and data measure advertising conversions and personalize ads. This choice controls ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.

You may select “Accept all”, “Reject all” or “Customize”. Optional categories are not preselected for a new choice. Your decision is saved in your browser’s local storage for subsequent visits, unless that storage is cleared or unavailable. A previous global acceptance does not authorize these new purposes: you will be asked to choose again.

Changing or withdrawing consent: use “Manage my cookie consent” at the bottom of this page. Withdrawal resets all four consent types to denied and lets you choose again without disabling essential site functions. It does not retroactively delete information already sent to Google. You may also delete existing cookies through your browser.

Record of your choices: we retain a timestamped log of full acceptance, refusal, partial choices or withdrawal, with an anonymized IP address and browser type, for up to approximately 24 months.

Communications with Google may involve processing outside Quebec, including in the United States. See also Google’s privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures (encrypted communications, access controls, limited collection and automatic purging of data) to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. As no mechanism is infallible, we invite you to only submit the information necessary for your request.

8. Your Rights

In accordance with the law, you may at any time:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have corrected information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
  • withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information;
  • request that dissemination cease or that a piece of information be de-indexed, where the law allows;
  • request the destruction of your information once the purposes of collection have been fulfilled.

To exercise any of these rights, write to pleduc@metierplus.com. We will respond diligently, no later than 30 days after receiving your request. If you are dissatisfied with how your request is handled, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI).

9. Confidentiality Incidents

In the event of a confidentiality incident involving your personal information (loss, theft, unauthorized access or use), we will take reasonable measures to reduce the risk of injury. If the incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the persons concerned, as required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, in particular to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. We invite you to review it periodically.
