2. Services Offered and Intermediary Role

The metierplus.com site presents Métier Plus's recruitment and personnel management services, specialized in technical trades in Quebec (institutional, commercial, light industrial and heavy industrial sectors).

Recruitment intermediary role: You acknowledge that Métier Plus acts as an independent placement and recruitment agency. Unless expressly indicated otherwise, Métier Plus acts as an intermediary between job seekers and client companies looking to hire. Submitting an application or using the site does not create any direct employment relationship between you and Métier Plus, nor does it guarantee that you will obtain an interview or a position with a client employer.

3. Intellectual Property

The Métier Plus logo and all its variations, as well as all site content (text, images, graphics, layout, code, tools), are the exclusive property of Métier Plus or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. They are offered for personal, non-commercial consultation. It is strictly prohibited to use them for commercial or advertising purposes, or to modify, copy, distribute, reproduce, publish, transfer or sell them, or create derivative works from them, without the prior express written authorization of Métier Plus.

4. Use of Forms and Accuracy of Information

When you use the site's forms, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information;
  • Only submit information that you are legally authorized to share;
  • Obtain the prior consent of any person whose contact information you submit as part of a referral program;
  • Not use the site for illegal, fraudulent or malicious purposes (including sending spam, engaging in unauthorized commercial solicitation, attempting to compromise the site's security or infringing the rights of others).

Métier Plus reserves the discretionary right to refuse, suspend or delete any submission or registration that violates these terms.

5. Submitted Content, Resumes and Retention in the Candidate Bank (Law 25)

You remain the owner of the intellectual property rights to the content you submit to us (including your resume and application documents).

By submitting your application or documents to Métier Plus, you grant it a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, analyze and communicate this information in the course of providing its recruitment services.

Retention in the candidate bank: In order to inform you of current and future professional opportunities matching your profile in the technical sectors, you consent to Métier Plus retaining your personal and professional information (resume, application history, assessments) within its exclusive candidate bank, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the requirements of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). You may at any time withdraw your consent or request the deletion of your file by contacting our person in charge of the protection of personal information.

6. Limitation of Liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty as to their accuracy, completeness, reliability or continuous availability.

Posted job offers change quickly; Métier Plus does not guarantee that a posted position is still vacant or that a recruitment process will lead to a hire.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws applicable in Quebec, Métier Plus, its officers, employees or partners cannot be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the site, the inability to use it, or any error, omission, interruption, computer virus or technical failure.

7. Security and Protection of Personal Information

Métier Plus implements reasonable security measures consistent with industry best practices to protect the site and the personal information transmitted. However, since no computer system or data transmission over the Internet is infallible, you acknowledge that you transmit this information at your own risk. Any breach of these terms of use or any misuse of the site may result, without notice, in the suspension or permanent removal of your access to the site's services. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Métier Plus, its directors, employees and partners from any harm, claim or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms.
