Building Technician

An international company specializing in commercial real estate services, property management and strategic real estate consulting. The Building Technician is primarily responsible for inspecting, maintaining and ensuring the proper operation of fire protection systems, including automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems and safety equipment. The technician performs preventive checks, identifies irregularities and coordinates the necessary interventions to ensure the compliance and safety of the building’s facilities.

• Inspect and ensure the proper operation of automatic sprinkler and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Check fire alarm systems and safety equipment.
• Detect irregularities, perform initial diagnostics and coordinate the necessary repairs.
• Follow up on inspections and interventions carried out by specialized suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to service requests and intervene in the event of technical issues.
• Travel between different sites to follow up on, inspect and maintain facilities.

• Experience in building maintenance and knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms and related equipment).
• Basic knowledge of building mechanics and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to conduct inspections, detect irregularities and resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of safety standards and fire prevention requirements.
• Autonomous, resourceful and well organized.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize interventions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel between multiple sites.
• Relevant training in building mechanics, electromechanics or a related field is an asset.
• Experience with sprinkler systems and fire protection is a significant asset.
