Superintendent

Our client is currently looking for a Site Superintendent to support the growth of its team. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, hands-on individual with solid experience on commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who can mobilize teams, make quick decisions and ensure the smooth progress of work while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and productivity.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities on construction sites
• Ensure the setup, operation and demobilization of construction sites
• Plan material orders and coordinate deliveries and lifting operations
• Establish short-term schedules with the Project Manager and monitor their progress
• Coordinate work with subcontractors and various stakeholders
• Ensure the quality of the work and compliance with plans and specifications
• Track costs and work progress
• Quickly resolve site issues and propose effective solutions
• Enforce health and safety standards in collaboration with the prevention team
• Maintain ongoing communication with the project management team

• Strong leadership and an excellent presence on site
• Dynamic, proactive and driven personality
• Excellent ability to manage priorities and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills, thoroughness and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using computer tools, particularly Procore
