Building Mechanical Systems Technician

Our client is a well-established real estate group specializing in the management and leasing of commercial properties. The company currently owns and manages approximately 20 commercial properties in the Brossard and South Shore areas. Its expertise lies in managing, maintaining and enhancing its properties to ensure the quality of its spaces for its tenants.

The Building Mechanical Systems Technician will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the mechanical systems in various buildings. The team is primarily seeking a technically skilled individual who can arrive on site, quickly identify the source of a problem, and carry out the necessary adjustments or repairs.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the buildings’ mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to air-conditioning systems, rooftop units and mechanical equipment
• Perform work on control systems and make the necessary adjustments
• Respond to service calls and follow up on completed interventions
• Carry out scheduled work in accordance with the established maintenance program
• Travel between the various buildings as required
• Work safely and keep equipment in good working condition

• Strong technical knowledge of building mechanical systems
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of air-conditioning systems, rooftop units and control systems
• Autonomy, resourcefulness and sound judgment
• Ability to work in a structured manner and manage multiple interventions
• Strong team spirit and collaborative personality
• Interest in a stable environment where work is primarily scheduled
